Jessica Kendzor Sprints Down the Stretch to a Silver Medal in the 800 Meters at the 65 Team County Meet

Jessica Kendzor sprinted down the stretch to a silver medal in the 800 Meters at the County Championships; also, she captured 2nd in the Class B 400 Meter run.

The field was loaded with top contenders. There was Shanel Golding, previous Westchester County 800 Meter Champion. There was Henrietta Miers, Section 1 Qualifier Champion & Westchester County Record Holder in the 1000 Meters. Jessica caught and passed them both along with several other excellent runners in the stretch. She finished second to Anima Banks, the current Section 1 top seed in the 800. Jessica currently has one of the fastest times in the state in the 800.
