Danielle Asaro, Michael Campobasso, Jesse Aprile, & Dylan Schuck are 2010 Section 1, Class B Champions!

Danielle Asaro was on fire in the 100 Meter Dash, recording a 12.4 performance enroute to victory as Section 1, Class B Champion. Michael Campobasso blazed a trail of gold as he dominated the 110 Meter hurdles in 15.9. Jesse Aprile leaped to 1st place stardom with his second farthest Triple Jump of the year at 42 -3. Dylan Schuck amassed 3,2009 points to fill his pockets with more gold to win his second Pentathlon Championship.

Jessie Kendzor placed 2nd, garnered silver, gave all in an exciting, gutsy performance against XC State Champion Megan Young, who ran 2:11 (22nd fastest time out of 61,016 in the country) to win the event. Jesse Aprile brought home the Gael’s second silver medal with a second place in the Long Jump. The Kennedy girls’ 4x400 relay team members (Mannion, Kastberg, Asaro, and Kendzor) coated themselves in bronze with a 3rd place finish at 4:13.

Kennedy boys finished 6th and the girls finished 10th in the 26 team event.
