"I wanted to win. I was hoping I would win," Kendzor said. "I just heard footsteps behind me and I was able to push through."

Special Note: Kendzor had the fastest time for all girls from the 45 teams present at the Invitational on this 5000 Meter course. This was her second straight Invitational victory, having taken 1st place with the best time for all girls present at the 49th Annual JFK Sterling Invitational.
