Breeda Mannion put aside a month of pain to run the best she could to finish 7th. She was a true inspiration to everyone who saw her fight through the pain. Together, the girls led their team to a 3rd place finish at the 49th Annual JFK Sterling Invitational in Somers, New York. As a result, the girls garnered a beautiful trophy for their school's trophy case. Doran Hastings finished 22nd, 3rd for the team; Colleen Iral came in 29th, 4th for the team; and, Emily Thomas was 32nd, 5th for the team. In 6th place for the Gaels and 36th overall was Clarice Chasting, Kennedy's newest addition. Sarah DiNome was 7th for the team and 39th overall; Sarah won the Freshman Race last year at the 48th Annual JFK Sterling Invitational.
