Boys, Girls Indoor Track Win League III-A Titles

After winning a cross-country title this past November, Kennedy Catholic’s male harriers proved they were still hungry, adding an indoor track league title this past weekend at The Armory (see link for complete results). Not to be outdone, the girls also bested Briarcliff to become League III-A champions, giving Kennedy two titlists on the weekend and the school its third overall this year.

While the multiple accomplishments of each team are too many to mention, the Gaels did record the following first place finishes:

GIRLS
Jessica Kendzor ’10 (300-Meter Dash; 1,000-Meter Run)
Jennifer Cicchetti ’09 (Long Jump; Triple Jump)
Abby Henry ’09, Kendzor ’10, Breeda Mannion ’10 & Theresa Tolan ’09 (4 x 400 Meter Relay)

BOYS
Dylan Schuck ’10 (55-Meter Hurdles; Triple Jump)
Brandon Wynne ’09 (3,200-Meter Run)
Jesse Aprile ’10 (Long Jump)
Dan Calapai, Alex Cecere, Jason Davin, Brandon Wynne ( 4 x400 Meter Relay)
